Halfords

Halfords wanted a seasonal campaign that complemented their latest TV ad and helped to reposition them as the home of staycations. The telly spot saw Steve Jones (from Formula 1) performing a spoken word poem about the brand and its benefits, so we took that and ran with it.

Written as COVID lockdowns were finally coming to an end, we focused on uplifting themes of re-finding freedom and enjoying time with family, highlighting Halfords as the place where all great British getaways begin.

The work also stretched into print, including OOH and in-store POS. We went out on the road, shooting both a family and a couple in various staycation situations, as well as staff at the auto centre.

Digital:

For digital, we created a series of simple gifs that brought our staycation moments to life using frames from the photoshoot.
